I am sure Rodney will chime in, but at our last integration meeting, we
were talking about finding ways to fund a lab of the brand new Oculus Go
headsets.  https://www.oculus.com/go/.    I don't see a camera for
augmented reality, but it is certainly one of the nicer VR headsets that I
have seen.   The nice thing about the Oculas Go is that it includes a
screen so you don't need a separate phone.

If you are looking for cool and cheap then take a look at the Merge Cube
and the Merge VR glasses.    Below is a video I made with the Cube.
