@Amanda - Interesting question. I went about adding the Ed Tech endorsement
as a librarian because so much of what I do involves integrating technology
already.  I just went and re-read the Education Quality Standards and the
only place that technology integration is explicitly mentioned is within
the librarian requirements.

Teaching computer science is-- to my mind-- a subset of the broader digital
and media literacy skills our students need. Definitely part of the
picture, but not the whole.

On the ground, a huge amount of my time is spent supporting colleagues with
resources and training. I also look at things like how we can leverage data
to support student learning, create data systems that operate more
efficiently, screen software for privacy compliance, identify software to
support the classroom and negotiate with vendors.
