Neal, thanks for the "heads up" on the "from now on"
site. There were several especially interesting things
to browse.

1. Summer Special
Reaching the Reluctant Teacher (the "laggards")
    http://fno.org/sum99/reluctant.html

which is excerpted from

2. How Teachers Learn Technology Best
    http://fno.org/howlearn.html

as well as the things from the september issue

3. The Failure of Technology to Transform Schools
    (Beyond IT)
    http://fno.org/sept99/beyond.html

4. Why Choice Matters in Professional Development
    http://fno.org/sept99/choice.html

With my more skeptical hat on, I wonder - why
bother to teach teachers to teach kids things
the kids are learning so well themselves. Maybe
those teachers are getting in the way !
