Good morning all,
Has anyone else experienced irregularities with the Hapara Teacher
Dashboard and monitoring their student's browser tabs and current screen in
Highlights after students have taken an exam that utilizes a lockdown
browser?
We are using the Renaissance lockdown browser for STAR testing. During
testing the lockdown browser appears to end critical tasks for the
student's Hapara Highlights Extension. When the test finishes and the
lockdown browser closes the extension never fully recovers. We have a
ticket in with Hapara, but it seems like this is the first they are hearing
of this type of problem. I'm assuming that other lockdown browsers (running
from a logged in session, not kiosk) create similar issues for the Hapara
Highlights extension, but I don't have a way to test that theory.
Best,
Mark
