Thanks everyone.  Ben Leslie helped me get my SMTP relay and configuration
manager set up properly.  I can send a test message now.  But the message
doesn't make it to my inbox.  Seems that the firewall is getting in the
way, but I"m not sure yet..  It isn't ending up in our Gmail Quarantine. I
have been able to use Putty to get to smtp.gmail.com via port 25.
