Hey everybody!
I hope classes are going well and that everyone has been enjoying this beautiful
weather before the cold kicks in!
Our first SEEDS (Student Environmental Educators Doing Service) meeting will be
on Monday September 20th from 7 pm to 8 pm in the Billings club space. For
those of you who are new to UVM, Billings is sandwiched between Williams and
Ira Allen chapel. The club space is in the basement of Billings, next to the
SGA office and across from the old candy counter. Please bring a planner and a
schedule of your classes...you will be filling out applications (these are very
very informal--they are not selective)...they are just a way for us to get to
know you as a student and get a better idea of what days you can participate in
the SEEDS program.
If you are unable to attend this meeting, that's fine...we understand if you
have a conflict, we just require you to fill out an application if you plan on
going to a school! I will leave some applications outside the VIA office door
for you to pick up. Please turn them in no later than Friday Sept. 24th.
We will also be having a training session on Wed. Sept. 22nd at 4:30 pm in the
club space. This is meant for anyone curious on how to further develop their
curriculum, how to work effectively with students, or just how to develop
curriculum in general. We will give you more details on this at our first
meeting (SEPT. 20th at 7 pm).
WOWZA...sorry, that was a lot of information thrown at you!
Take care and see you Monday!
