Hey volunteers!
SEEDS has been invited to participate in the annual Healthy Kids Day
at the Burlington YMCA on Saturday April 14th from 10 am to 2 pm.
Michelle Cunning, the coordinator for the Burlington and Richmond YMCA
programs was interested in having us prepare some gardening
activities. If you are interested in volunteering please email me
with the times you are available. Also, be thinking of activities
that we could use!

Sarah,
Happy Friday, I hope this finds you doing well. I have a volunteer
opportunity for SEEDS that i thought you may be interested in. Every
year the YMCA hosts a Healthy Kids Day on Saturday April 14 from 10-2.
This year we are having a garden activity for the kids where they
can plant a seed in a little pot and take it home (we may also have
other gardening activities, but for right now this is it.) I was
wondering if any of your SEEDS volunteers would be interested in
helping out with this activity. You could also come up with your own
basic gardening activity, or maybe some gardening color sheets as
well. I just thought your group would be a perfect match for this
activity, because you would be able to have fun with kids, but also be
able to answer any questions they may have, or explain to them how
plants grow!!! Please let me know what you think.
Michelle

Hi Michelle,
I just got your message and decided it would be easier if I emailed
you the contact information for the two SEEDS volunteers for Richmond.
I'm glad that Thursday afternoons work well for you!
