Dear Sarah and Sarah,

I am not sure which of you is the Sarah I want to contact, so please excuse
me if you are not the right one!

Your name was given to me by Ibit Getchell as a contact person for the
SEEDS program. I am writing to see if you, or a member of SEEDS, might be
available to come with a display or present an activity for the Museum's
Annual Community Family Day.  Entitled "Ravens, Trees, and Bumblebees,"
Family Day is in 2 weeks on Saturday, November 6, from 11 am - 4 pm.

Each year the theme of Family Day is drawn from a current exhibition and
this year we have four exhibitions all revolving around the theme of nature
including "Bernd Heinrich: The Naturalist as Artist," "Fungi, Unicorns, and
Beached Whales: The Artist as Naturalist" and Japanese landscape prints and
scholars' rocks from China.  As you can see, the exhibitions cover a lot of
ground, so there are lots of topics -- bees, insects, trees -- that would
connect would these exhibitions.

The audience for Family Day is children and their parents in the community
and we have a variety of art activities and programs going on.  The
students who help us out at Family Day love it -- it is lots of fun to work
with the kids.

and to answer any questions you may have.  It would be great if SEEDS could
