Hey Everyone I hope everyone's first week at the schools are going well. Next
wednesday October 13 there is going to be an Environmental Fair in the Billings
North Lounge. At this fair there will be many organizations that are involved
in renewable energy, alternative resources, and other aspects dealing with the
environment. All the environmental groups on campus with also be represented
at this fair including SEEDS. We are going to have a table set up where we will
be making recycled paper and be doing other environmental craft activities. We
are looking for some people to help out and volunteer for a half hour or hour
what ever people can contribute. The fair is going on from 11 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
If any one is free during this time it would be a great help. We have a sign
up sheet in the office or you can email us. Also wanted to remind everyone to
fill out the lesson plan sheets after each time you go to your schools.
Lastly, this Monday OCTOBER 11 AT 7:00 we will be having a short SEEDS meeting.
We have a very special guest speaker a seeds alumni member, Alexandra Crowely
from Teach America will be coming in to talk about education in elementary
schools. We look forward to seeing you guys then, and have a great weekend.
