Well Syd things look good in terms of the spring season, as well as
>spring seasons to come.
> We have a young team in the works for the road season. Though
>possibly suffering from in experaince on the road, they all have been
>training hard and should be in awsome fitness when the season rolls around.
>We also have a burgeoning women's team, all of whom look to be able to
>challenge the rest of the conference.
> Though we have been training for the most part individually, the
>team has been doing a few things togeather. We have been riding indoor
>trainers in the Wright hall aerobics room, while watching cycling on
>television (to improve fitness, as well as learn tactics for the road
>season) as well as doing "Spinning" at Body Works in Williston. One of the
>club members instructs spinning there and those of us who are not in class
>all go down at 3pm on Weds. spin.
> The team is also currently involved in the "tour de SmartFUEL"
>which is a bicycle race which takes place on indoor trainers and modems,
>linked with bike shops in the northeast. Comprised of courses from this
>past season's biggest stage races, it is as much a guage of early season
>fitness, as a race. The team prize, which we are competing for as well as
>the individual overall, is a Computrainer, the $1200 electronic trainer on
>which the race takes place.
>Hope this helps for the senetors.
