Dear Fellow Senators,
In accordance with the SGA Constitution ARTICLE VIII, Section 4,
Subpoints A and B. I have assumed the office of Vice-President for an
interim period during this transitional period in light of the
resignation of President Douglas.
I am requesting on behalf of President Higa, that all of those
senators who are leaving after this term submit their letters of
resignation by DEC. 18, 1998 to myself or the President. You will all be
missed.
The Executive Office is currently in a state of transition and
when the Senate returns in January of 1999, President Higa will be
discussing the issue of who the permanent Vice-President will be for the
rest of the term.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to
contact me at 862-3246.
Have a safe and happy holiday season!!
Sincerely,
Senator Robert A. Pontbriand, SGA Interim Vice-President.
P.S.: Do not forget about the mandatory senate retreat on January 29th.
Bring your ideas and renewed energy.
