    LAKE CHAMPLAIN MARINE FORECAST

   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   338 AM EDT Sun Oct 13 2002

   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   Lake Wind advisory

   Today: South Wind increasing to 15 to 25 knots. Waves building to 2 to
   4 feet. Showers developing late in the afternoon, reducing visibility
   to around 3 miles.
   Tonight: Wind becoming northwest 15 to 25 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
   Chance of early evening showers, reducing visibility to 5 miles.
   Monday: Northwest wind 15 to 20 knots, diminishing to 10 to 15 knots
   late in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 94.66
   feet. The water temperature was 58 degrees.
