   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Today: Cloudy with mixed snow and rain developing around midday, then
   changing to rain and freezing rain in the afternoon. Highs in the 30S.
   South Winds 20 to 30 mph becoming southwest and increasing to 40 to 50
   mph. 
   Friday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon rain showers. highs
   in the 40S. Southwest winds 45 to 60 mph.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock in
   Burlington was 97.26 feet and the water temperature was 33 degrees.
