Rather than thowing some big hoedown to celebrate my 50th, the
family has been beaten into submission after many months of effort,
to pool their resources and cover some of the cost of what could be
either a dire mistake, some of the best skiing of my life, or both.

I'm booking a week with Alaska Heliskiing 2/20-2/26, if anyone is interested in joining. The plan is to stay at one of the cabins by the helipad and slum it at the Roadhouse and/or cook meals ourselves. Maybe an evening or two heading down to Haines to enjoy the sins of that teeming metropolis.

You all can Google with the best of them, so I don't need to go
linking to their site here, but if you need additional infos, BC me.
Here's a little stoke, though, whether you're interested in joining
or not: http://thenorthproject.com/film.html. Great footage the of
Haines area and some excellent cinematography & editing.

Due to work obligations, one of which is keeping me from the cat
trip, I really need to go that particular week. If you can only pull
a few days, rather than the entire week, no worries. I'll be happy to
greet you on the way in, and out.

Cheers!
g
