We're enjoying life on the west coast.  SF is a great spot for us.  My wife is primarily a city person and I’m primarily an outdoor person, but there is overlap too.  Two weeks ago I skied Mt. Hood and on the way home added another National Park (Crater Lake) to my NP ski life list.  Tomorrow I’m heading back to Hood for this,
