Instead of whining about it, start going at it with the Russian Kettlebells and in the long run, you'll surprise yourself.
Meanwhile, there's indoor death cycle class with 54 y/o Karen Smyers tonight and she's still crushing triathlons and vows to win the 80-84 age group in an Ironman.

Subject:Re: [SKIVT-L] Killington VT, Nov 29
Yeah, I logged off after I sent that e-mail via my wicked smaht phone. Hey, you made the right move! The goods were to be had on Skyelark!
Anyway, I was on Mt Washington on Wednesday where footing was treacherous after the cold front pushed the rain out in the morning, leaving glaze on the rocks. There was no snow sans a .000001mm layer. After taking care of a task in Hermit Lake and tinkering with my DeLorme Inreach Explorer, I bagged the summit less than 1 minute prior to my turnaround time and made it back to Pinkham at 10 minutes prior to sunset - treacherous footing slowed me down but it was a great day nonetheless.
So, I wanted turns for today, especially since I wanted to build upon the turns I was making the other day at Mount Snow. So, I figured that Killington would have the best chance of bouncing back from the thaw/freeze event from yesterday. I had not skied there since 1997. So, I shelled out a reasonable $70-something for a day ticket. Glades from summit, Snowden and Skyelark had turns to be had with lotsa' snow being made. On my third run, I started to really click and was getting what I wanted. The skiing was actually very good through the morning and into the afternoon and I got numerous turns in. Good stuff considering the thaw/freeze and thin cover. Hey, I had fun and knocked off some more rust and cobwebs.
