Short version this evening as it won't be the same tomorrow...
Snow quality was still excellent today, temps were near 30, light winds
which became gusty in the afternoon. Skied lots of woods and some
groomers which were in great shape. While I do not like endless grooming,
Perry Merril is becoming a fun GS turning cruising. The snow seems to be
consistently better on that run than on any other groomer around the
resort...I hope I don't get banned for saying stuff about the groomers ;)
Trees off Chin clip were chalky, but still some powder lines to be found.
I noticed the landscape changed a lot since the last storm. Creeks that
used to be there are no longer, some rocks are gone, a lot more twigs are
out of the picture, ect. Lines flow much easier. Flat light meant the
trees were the best spot to be: http://tinyurl.com/lh9eb
Some light freezing rain and ice pellets started falling around noon and
then as soon as the precip picked up and the atmospheric column cooled, it
started to puke snow. A dusting turned into an inch which turned into two
inches in a couple hours. Probably l"/hr rates of big fat flakes.

Skiing kept getting better and better. Groomers became more fun as they
were now covered in a couple inches of fresh snow...woods became softer.
You could really feel the difference under foot. Such a shame it really
won't matter...except its just another layer of snow that'll have to melt.
