Years ago - before I started skiing MRG - some novice snowboarders derailed
the single getting off. An event that hadn't happened that any one could
remember.
Being open minded Betsy said - OK no snowboards on the single. Well a little
later one very special a$$ h01e snowboader made sure no snowboader would ever
be allowed at MRG.
Maintaining, or rebuilding the single as it exist today is one of the prime
tenants of the co-op.
Snowboaders probably won't ride the lifts at MRG in my lifetime, and I will
vote to keep it that way. 1 or 2 bad apples have spoiled the barrel. At MRG
I never have to ski on board groomed snow. If you don't teach responsible
riding, then live with the smell.
Rich
