My first summer job was in 1978. It was at the Rossi warehouse in 
williston, vt. I am sad to hear they are going...some of the same warhouse 
guys are still there from when I worked there! 

I "picked skis" for orders and engraved "rental" on boards destined for the 
slopside scene...I hitchiked from south hero to rossi everyday, and loved 
learning to drive the forklifts they had there...almost got killed there 
when I was up on a forklift's forks picking skis from a high shelf, and the 
dude driving it pulled back, nearly tossing me to the concrete...he later 
got busted trying to sell thousands of $ worth of skis to an undercover cop 
at a pizza place...
anyway too bad for VT
