The Lake Champlain open waters forecast
Today: West Winds around 10 knots becoming northwest and increasing to
10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. A chance of afternoon showers, with
visibility unrestricted.
Tonight: Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 foot or less.
Sunday: North Winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves around 1 foot.
The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock is 95.80
feet, and the water temperature is 70 degrees.
The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:
Today: Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon showers. Highs 60 to
65. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph.
Sunday: Partly sunny. Highs 55 to 60. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph.
