Went to Killington for the weekend. Awoke to about 2" of snow at about
2000'. The snow conditions at 8:30 am were soft ontop of HARD. Rode all
day. At about 3:45pm I saw a green plaid headband go flying by me. So I
made chase. I got on the superstar lift about 5 cars behind this plaid.
When I got to the top I yelled to stop the person. He introduced himself
as Mr. Mogul.
I said "hummm, Mr. Mogul". He said, "yup that's all I ski; when there
here". We proceeded. Half way down we stoped for a minute. I said "those
were some pretty good moguls." He said "nah, there are too far apart."
I hope my conversation did not make him miss the last chair back up. As
for me I called it a day at 4:00 pm even.
Sunday was sunny, however the slopes were very scraped off and I did not
see any green plaid. I did see many people going under ropes in the
canyon area. Larry, what's up with that? Killington is going to be crazy
this weekend if they do not get lucky with some real snow. But if they get
a little real stuff many trial will open quickly.
