True dat.  Then again, it's encouraing to see reports from Jumpin Jimmy
and Scott B that indicate some usually deep lines are already skiable.
Come to think of it, Wes, what were the search parameters you used to
determine the 40" cut-off?  IIRC, it was something to effect of "epic"
and "trees" or some such.  If that's the case, is the 40" line really the
minimum recommended depth, or is that the "epic" (or whatever term(s) was
used)depth? If the latter, then maybe the cut-off before you can venture
comfortably into such usual suspects (the deeper lines, that is) is in the
20-30" range.  Or maybe the "need-to-get-skied-bad" has just gone to my
head.  Going without it for a long time can affect a man in strange ways.
