Herr Doktor neglects to mention that said lakewater is downright
frigid.  Makes downeast Maine look like bathwater.  Unless you wear
a wet suit or luck out and get a flat-calm day where the top foot heats
up to something bearable, Tahoe is so deep and maintains such a constant
temperature that it's mostly for lookin' at, not swimmin' in.
