Personally I am looking more forward to the Teton Gravity Research (<A
HREF="http://www.tetongravity.com/">TETON GRAVITY RESEARCH Ski and Snowboard
Film...</A>) Matchstick production ski films (<A
HREF="http://www.mspfilms.com/">Welcome to Matchstick Productions</A>) more
than the new Warren Miller film. The Warren Miller films are good, but over
the past couple year they are getting too spread out. I have Free riders,
Snowriders 2, Snowriders, Endless Winter, & Black Diamond Rush, but I end up
watching my TGR (The Continuum, Harvest, Uprising) and MSP films (Pura Vida,
and Sick Sense). For anyone who has seen the last two MSP films you gotta
love Saucer Boy (Shane McConkey other ski film character).
The best thing was this past year when TGR came to Burlington, I worked for
TGR to put up poster around UVM, Champlain College and other places as well.
It was really cool working the DesLauries Bros., John Egan, Dean 'The Greek'
Decas and Alison Gannet. The Teton Gravity/Strait up double show went really
well and I would not be suprised to see it in Burlington again this fall.
Once you watch Sick Sense or Uprising you'll never look at Warren Miller
shows the same way. I still like Warren, but I have to admit 'Sick Sense'
has bee in my VCR as my ski film of choice. It has some kick ass scenes with
the New Canadian Air Force doing what they do best, sick new school tricks.
After they are the creators of new school air tricks. The 360 mute Grab was
not invented by Mosely, it was invented by J. F. Cusson (The New Canadian
Air Force)
My thoughts of the day,
Todd
