    LAKE CHAMPLAIN MARINE FORECAST

   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   300 PM EDT Fri May 28 2004

   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Tonight: Northwest winds 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
   Saturday: Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
   Saturday Night: Northwest winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
   Sunday: Variable winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves less than 1 foot.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 97.70
   feet, and the water temperature was 52 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Saturday, May 29 is a 5. This is in the
   moderate category.
