Since we are still not in true winter mode, I figure it's safe to
post something off-topic.
I made another trip to a race track with my MINI. This time, it was
New Hampshire International Speedway, which has a road course that
uses portions of the Nascar oval track. If you've got quicktime 7
installed, there is some in-car video from my car located here:

This even was run by the SCDA (Sports Car Drivers of America). I
usually go to the track with the BMW club. The SCDA drew a different
crowd and there was quite the assortment of cars including a few
Ferraris, a Maserati, a few race prepared Porsche 911s, a couple of
the Turner Motorsports race prepared BMW 330s, and who knows what I'm
forgetting.
In my vid, the blue car I pass is an old Nissan Z-car that was having
issues with cold tires early in the morning, the car I continue to
close on for the first two laps is a BMW M3, the red Volvo that
passes me is a S60R (300+ hp all wheel drive). In the segment with
the instructor in the car, I start out passing a Porsche 944, and
then continue to chase a Miata that I had been closing on slowly all
session, but lost ground to when the 944 slowed me down.
