>Don't know if such a thread is old and tired but what songs do
skivittlers like to have playing through their heads whilst enjoying
their favorite downhill glisse activities?<
Well, at least it's skiing related. Can't think of any specific songs
(actually I really suck at remembering song titles) and it kinda depends on
mood and whatever I had in the CD player during the drive. This past season
there were moments, runs, and sometimes entire days of Offspring, Zola
Turn, Garbage, Tori Amos, Leahy, Rush, some of the stuff from the film "The
Matrix", Save Ferris, Stabbing Westward, 10K Maniacs, Bad Religion and Mary
Chapin Carpenter. Oh, also the cover of the New Order tune by Orgy - that
figured prominently in late April at the Loaf up in the snowfields.
Unfortunately there also was that absolute dreck by the New Radicals (who
aren't either one of those) that was getting airplay and for the life of me
I couldn't get it out of my head. One day it was so bad I considered
hurling myself from the high point on a lift just to end the torture. On a
brighter note, at least I didn't have to go through the same hell with any
of the pablum from that recycled lounge act Sugar Ray.
