   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   310 PM EDT Thu Oct 10 2002

   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   Tonight: South Wind 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
   Friday: Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
   Friday Night: Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
   Saturday: Southeast wind 15 to 20 knots. Waves around 2 feet.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 94.68
   feet. The water temperature was 57 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Friday, October 11 is a 2. This is in the
   minimal category.
