[wow, I'm actually posting. been a while.]

Pictures I've seen of other singles had similar safety bars (where
they had them at all).

The MRG single has always struck me as much more like a surface lift
than a chairlift in terms of how you unload: stand up and ski off to
the side, which of course doesn't work as well with a double.
