    LAKE CHAMPLAIN MARINE FORECAST

   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   346 AM EDT Mon May 30 2005

   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Today: South Winds 5 to 10 knots, shifting to the north this
   afternoon. Waves less than 1 foot. A chance of showers or
   thunderstorms. Some storms May produce small hail and gusty winds.
   visibility reduced to 3 miles in any showers or storms.
   Tonight: Light and variable winds with near calm water.
   Tuesday: Light and variable winds with near calm water. A chance of
   showers or thunderstorms.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock is 97.46
   feet, and the water temperature is 45 degrees.
