mountain climatology is crazy- solitude and LCC are pretty close together
from the looks of things- probably under 10 miles (high estimate) apart.

yeah- money's an issue. but if there's 4 of us, splitting it wouldn't be
that bad- plus i'd rather not have to rent a car (and i hate buses, now that
i live in the city). goldminer's daughter sounds good- only thing is- i
think we'd have at least 1 border. bummer, dude.

solitude isn't as challenging as LCC? i've heard pretty good things about
honeycomb canyon- but maybe this isn't enough to satisfy all tastes. a 3
course meal at solitude vs a 7 course meal at Alta/snowbird kinda thing?

there is no way to ski off the backside of solitude to alta? google earth
shows its right off the back. is this avi terrain, off-limits, or just a
really bad idea?
