Chinook Pass and thereabouts are definitely a great place to ski.  I was
there last year on Mother’s Day, in the company of some locals, one of whom
provided a thorough documentation of the day’s events:

I also have an 8.5 meg video file, plus a half-meg topo map of the
complicated loop we did, in case anyone is interested in the route details.
Way back in 1999 I was able to ski Naches Peak on August 21, but that was
an exceptional snow year - somehow I assume that won’t be possible this
season!
