    RECREATIONAL FORECAST

   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   407 AM EST Mon Mar 13 2006

   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Today: Becoming cloudy with rain showers developing by midday. high in
   the 40S. South Winds 10 to 20 mph early increasing and becoming
   southwest 40 to 50 mph by afternoon. 
   Tuesday: Cloudy with a chance of rain showers in the morning, changing
   to snow showers by afternoon. Early highs in the 30S, then
   temperatures dropping into the teens by afternoon. west winds 30 to 45
   mph.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock in
   Burlington was 97.15 feet, And the water temperature was
   34 degrees.
