Wow, I'm sore. By the end of yesterday the bumps on Rime were big and
soft. Spring bump skiing all weekend, with an occasional hike out to Copper
Cabin. The big story isn't how good skiing was last weekend, but WILL
there be skiing this weekend (at K)? The trails off the Superstar quad had
very very thin spots by mid morning and the trails connecting the upper
mountain to the base were very thin also. There were some thin spots
developing on near the bottom on both Rime and East Glade. Maybe Rime can
make it through the week, but that's the only one I could see making it.
Could you picture K shuttling skiers up in a truck to the canyon quad on
the day after thanksgiving.
Does anyone know how many snow guns K can run at one time? Well, a better
question is how many guns will they run Wednesday night when the temp goes
down?
