Rather than making the effort to hike the glaciers south of here or even the
snowfields, I simply must have lift serviced "skiing" this summer. Where
else to go but New Hampshire. Because "lift serviced" does not include me
hiking, what is going on Tenney this summer? Web site, not easily navigated,
doesn't say anything about this summer but does talk about last summer.
Did notice that an area down in Australia is putting in a system that can
make snow at any temperature. Sounds a bit like Tenney.
Speaking of Oz and NZ, both locales are getting snow. Check out the top of
Thredbo at http://www.thredbo.com.au/liveimages/tb_half.jpg which has had
some snow for a while. When looking at the cams, remember that they are +14
hours from the east coast which essentially means their daytime is your
nighttime.
Snowed last night around here above 7K a couple of inches.
