Julie and I made it three days of skiing in a row---FSC with a big crew at SMR,
then two days at Jay.

Jay is now such a different experience...kudos for staying open late Jay, but at
this time of year, we skiers were the oddity on Tramside. Hockey families
from New Brunswick, and tattooed families from the wastelands of Drone-ville
dominate the base area. We got plenty of funny looks in the hotel, what with
ski boots on a packs on our backs....

We only rode the lifts a couple of times, as both days were sunny, windy and
cold, and this was looming over us and we had to ski it:

Looking out of the maw of the Tram, picking routes:

The upper mountain had sections where the snow was wind loaded, but on
many places we found nice 3 inch powder to wiggle on:

We skied JFK, Ullr's Dream, th Northway, part of Poma I think it was, and
whatever else on the run-out we found to pick our way back on. Skis stayed
on almost the whole way, although it was not continuous snow on the bottom
1/4.
