Last 10 years, in millions. This is a FAST transcription from a graph and
should not be taken as gospel (besides, the 2007-2008 numbers are
preliminary ones).
Northeast: 12.3 12.0 13,7 12.2 14.0 12.9 13.7 12.5 11.8 14.1
Mid Atl: 3.3 5.2 5.5 5.0 5.8 5.6 5.5 5.8 4.9 5.2
Midwest: 6.0 6.4 7.6 7.0 8.1 7.8 7.5 7.8 7.2 8.1
Rockies: 18.4 18.1 19.3 18.1 18.7 18.9 19.6 20.7 20.8 21.3
Pac West: 11.1 10.5 11.3 12.1 10.9 11.9 10.6 12.0 10.3 11.4
Worthy of note: Vermont and New York were up 15 and 19%, resepctively.
10 year average in the Northeast is 12.9 mm. So this year represents 9%
increase over that average. This year's Rocky Mountain totals were an
all-time record. Snowboarding increased slightly from 30.7 percent of
total visits to 31.6 percent.
