Started the day with a couple laps on North Lynx. No snow left on Sunrise and Morning Star was
probably on its last day, but Birch Run was still well covered and a good early morning corn run.
Came down Sleeper, which by 10 was total slush.

Rode the Super Bravo up, and since the upper lifts were just opening, decided to take a run down
Twist/Moonshine, which was either hard as a rock, or actual rock. I don't think those will be open
much longer, though Snowball still has plenty of snow on it. I avoided spring fling as there was a
mogul comp going on there. Stein's had plenty of snow and looked like skier's right had recently
been groomed, but the northerly aspected looked rather shiny at that point in the day.

Rode up Superbravo again and headed towards Heavens gate via a short fun bit of tree skiing.
From the lift, Ripcord sounded mediocre though it was totally covered, Spillsville looked good but
faced North so I headed towards Paradise. Big soft bumps with decent cover the whole way down.
Up heaven's Gate again for a couple of runs through some of SB's non-existant tree skiing in the
same region, and found the cover surprisingly good. Only problem was the traverse in on the first
tree run--ice and wood teamed up to give me a nice elbow bruise.

From there I went over to Castlerock for what was announced to likely be the last day of the
season for that lift. Skied all 4 of the main runs and some unnamed stuff as well. Still enough of
snow on Middle Earth and Castlerock to ski for a week or 2 more, but I'm sure that after yesterday
and today, there's no way to get back down to the lift because the lower elevations were so thin.

After beating myself up with 4 mogul runs and a gloppy tree run, I headed for some corn. Last
year after SBS closed down, I discovered that Murphy's to Lower Organ Grinder is an excellent
place for mid afternoon corn, so I headed there and wasn't dissapointed. I took 2 servings of it
and called it a day at 3:30.

So yes, SBS was still skiing well as of Saturday.
