.The Lake Champlain Forecast...

.TONIGHT...South winds 10 to 20 knots...becoming north 5 to 10 
knots after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet...subsiding to 1 foot or 
less after midnight. Rain or snow likely until midnight...then a 
chance of snow after midnight. Visibility 1 to 3 miles this 
evening...increasing to around 5 miles after midnight.
.SATURDAY...North winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. A 
slight chance of rain or snow...mainly in the morning. Visibility
generally unrestricted.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...North winds 5 to 15 knots...becoming variable
around 5 knots late. Waves 1 to 2 feet...subsiding to 1 foot or 
less after midnight. 
.SUNDAY...Light and variable winds...becoming southeast 5 to 10 
knots in the afternoon. Waves less than 1 foot. A chance of rain 
in the afternoon. Visibility 3 to 5 miles in the afternoon. 

Wave heights are for ice free areas.

The ultraviolet index for Saturday will be a 5. This is in the moderate
category.

.TONIGHT...Summits obscured in clouds. Snow or mixed
precipitation until midnight...then a chance of snow after 
midnight. Lows in the 20s to around 30. West winds 30 to 45 
mph...becoming northwest 15 to 30 mph after midnight.
.SATURDAY...Summits in and out of clouds in the morning... partly
to mostly cloudy. A chance of snow in the morning...then a chance
of snow or mixed precipitation in the afternoon. Highs in the 
upper 20s to mid 30s. North winds 10 to 20 mph. 
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower to mid 20s. 
Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph...becoming east 5 to 15 mph after 
midnight. 
.SUNDAY...Partly sunny in the morning...then becoming cloudy with
mixed precipitation likely in the afternoon. Highs 35 to 40. 
South winds 5 to 15 mph...increasing to 10 to 25 mph in the 
afternoon.
