    LAKE CHAMPLAIN MARINE FORECAST

   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   415 PM EDT Wed May 26 2004

   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Tonight: South Winds 10 to 20 knots, becoming west. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
   A chance of showers until midnight. Visibility 3 to 5 miles.
   Thursday: Southwest winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
   Thursday Night: South Winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. showers
   likely late. Visibility 2 to 3 miles in precipitation.
   Friday: Southwest winds 10 to 20 knots. Waves 2 to 3 feet. showers
   likely in the morning. Visibility 3 to 5 miles.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 97.50
   feet, and the water temperature was 47 degrees. the ultraviolet index
   for Thursday is a 6. This is in the high category.
