Alas, a lack of free time and open roads prevent me from getting up into
the Santa Catalinas.  Too bad.  It looks like the snow line is down to
about 4000 ft., and most of the front range was bedecked with snow as I
drove home this evening.    A call to the Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley's
conditions hotline (520-576-1400) reveals that there's some 18" up there.
But I'm not sure when that message was recorded - there could be even
more!
