I also got in a day of mainly lift-served at Hood, although the Palmer
wasn't running (hooking up the mid-station for summer race training), so I
skinned up from the top of the Magic Mile lift to a few hundred vert above
the Palmer summit -- the terrain just seems to keep on going in a
nontechnical way until much higher up.
Altogether, eight days of skiing, five days of work, a ridiculous amount of
driving up and down I-5, and lots of cross-country flights!
