>As I told Eric backchannel, one cant go wrong with either Single Pebble,
>Five Spice Cafe, or Bangkok Bistro. All are above average in my book.

haven't lived in b-ton for 8 years... used to go out there a lot more. but
five spice, meh... my wife got food poisoning there once years back. when
she called to simply tell them that they might want to do something about
it, they accused her of angling for a free meal. we ain't been back.

bangkok bistro, on the other hand, kicks serious arse--it's owned by a thai
family. they're from thailand; it ain't no second-hand thai. (not that
you have to be thai to cook good thai food, necessarily, but i'm going with
experience here...) they make some awesome traditional meals. one of the
kids was a student of mine last year. nice folks. good martinis, i hear.
and the crazy bowls, yeah--those rock.

single pebble, i concur, is excellent as well--but entirely different food
from the bb, it being food from a coupla thousand miles farther north.
