this is ridiculously misinformed, but i'll decline comment.  instead, i'll 
throw out another frank bryanism (the guy is a mad political and 
pedagogical genius):

hitler in charge of germany was one of the world's worst tyrants.  hitler 
in town meeting would have been dismissed as a jerk.
