Thanks- I needed that!

Lessee now, I suck now, and we've got four, no maybe five months to see how
bad I suck at age 44...

Whew. I'm relieved to see that you have a sense of humor. I realized after
I sent that post that I might have clicked 'send' too quickly. My original
post to Andor was more of a joking goodbye buddy type of thing than anything
else. I have never seen him ski or even met him, but I will miss his posts
and his dry wit. That's why I used the term 'whose'. Anyway, it is certainly
pointless to talk about who is the better skier or not. Personally, I liked
Mark's idea htat the best skier is the one who is having the most fun. The
only problem with this is that it could mean that Doug will win the World Cup
next year.....not!

As far as sucking, I can relate to that. A few years ago I took some Masters
race camps at SB, and was fortunate enough to learn from Luc Robillard, who is
the best ski coach I hae ever worked with. Of the many Luc-isms, one of our
favorites was this: When asked how we were doing, he would say, "Well you
don't suck as bad as you did this morning!" We wanted to get some shirts made
up that said we don't suck! Hopefully we can get together for some turns this
winter.
