Just returned from Thanksgiving in Jackson, NH. Rain. Blech. Hopes of getting
in some turns at Wildcat or even Attitash quickly faded fast under pouring rain.
Pouring wet evil rain. Took a quick hike up to Thompson's falls with dear ol
dad on the north side of w'cat. On the POSITIVE side, sleet and slain fell
Friday as we crossed over the Kanc to Fraconia Notch to hike bridal veil falls.
Other sights: Attitash was closed and had fading remnants of a run, similar
situation at Loon (though they seemed to have 3 or 4 fading runs). Wildcat and
Bretton did manage to stay open with one run apiece.
