Florida guy saved me this weekend from a long drive for--according to
everything I could tell from a coupla hunnerd miles away--nuthin'.
Did anybody ski?
Does anyone care to guess when good skiing will reappear?
Jerm, your advice about declaring a mathematical holiday last week is
lookin' bettern' better--in retrospect, unfortunately.
But I've noticed another amazing digital quirk: Wedneday, 12/01/99 will
be the first time since November 1, 1989 that the first three digits of
the date are exactly seventy-nine less than the last three digits
(120/199 - 110/189). Incredible! Won't happen again 'til February 11,
2000 (021/100). I think. Does that mean I should bag work? On Wednesday?
Next 2/11? Both?
I think I see the light.
