How many pair of skates do 8 year old hockey players have? Do they
have a "game" pair?
How many gloves does an 8 year old right fielder have? Does he have a
game glove? How about bats?
Ridiculous.
At that age - I say learn to ski all conditions reasonably well on one
pair, first.
Then one can really enjoy new, more specific gear.
