John,

I would say that your touching defence of your brother would be
quasi-valid if we spent the day as wet rats, but we did not. Evan's
pictures do not do the day justice twofold: 1) it was vastly more
comfortable and pleasant weather than it appears; 2) even more
importantly ski conditions, for the most part, were superb. As
Jonanthan previously mentioned, coverage on both Airplane and Left
Gullies was excellent, especially for the end of May. Sure, the corn
on the East Snowfields was a bit thick, but it was certainly better
than sitting in a car at midday.

Hopefully, Jim Cr. will have the courage and moral conviction to join
us next time, he is a good ski partner.

I hope to have some photos up by the end of the day.
