Clicked the Stratton opening email early and scored a $29 ticket(not sure I
would have gone for it at $59) . I wanted to get used to my too long (190) BD
Verdicts with the G3 binding in a more neutral position and the 4 trails they
had open were a good test ground. Of course no bumps, not too steep and
fairly wide. It was a nice sunny day and the snow started better than it
finished, the cover was good but the center of the trails got scraped quickly.
Highlight of the day was running into Jonathon Sheffetz skinning up as I was
descending on my last run, his setup looked lighter than the cross country ski
team that I saw training earlier in the day.
